The Alameda County HOME Consortium, which includes the cities of Alameda, Fremont, Hayward, Livermore, Pleasanton, San Leandro, Union City, and the Urban County (Albany, Dublin, Emeryville, Newark, and Piedmont), have prepared the Draft FY26-27 Action Plan in compliance with federal requirements for receiving U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds. These plans guide how federal housing and community development funds will be used to address local needs and priorities.
The Draft Plan will be available for public review from April 13 to May 13, 2026 on the websites of the participating jurisdictions and the Alameda County Housing and Community Development Department. A public hearing will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at 224 W. Winton Ave., Room 160, Hayward, CA 94544.
