The Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program provides resources to Alameda County residents in low-moderate income residents in small cities and unincorporated county. Since 1974, the CDBG program managed by HCD has provided more than $100 million to support many programs.

Income Limits »

Each year, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) publishes data on the median income by area throughout the Country. Alameda County uses this information for many of its affordable housing programs, requiring our partners to verify the incomes of tenant households living in assisted properties.
